Cancellation rights

**Cancellation Policy & Cancellation Form**

Consumers have the right to cancel their contract under the following conditions. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed.

**A. Cancellation Policy**

**Right of Withdrawal**

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

Additionally, we voluntarily offer an extended right of withdrawal of a total of 30 days for unused and originally packaged goods.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Steinhaus Handelsges. mbH & Co. KG, Schauerödstraße 21, 94152 Neuhaus, Tel.: 08503 924540, Fax: 08503 9245429, E-Mail: auftrag@erst-holz.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

**Consequences of Withdrawal**

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the delivery costs (except for the additional costs arising from choosing a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive the notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the initial transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you incur any fees as a result of this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

We will bear the cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

**Exclusion or Early Expiration of the Right of Withdrawal**

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.

**General Information**

1. Please avoid damaging or contaminating the goods. If possible, return the goods in their original packaging with all accessories and all packaging components. If necessary, use a protective outer packaging. If you no longer have the original packaging, please ensure adequate protection against transport damage with suitable packaging.

2. Please do not return the goods to us freight collect if possible.

3. Please note that the above points 1-2 are not prerequisites for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.
